IPC Week 2025: A Celebration of Team Spirit, Learning, and Laughter!

What a week it’s been! IPC Week 2025 was a wonderful celebration of teamwork, creativity, and our shared commitment to infection prevention and control (IPC). Across the week, our staff came together to learn, participate, and have plenty of fun along the way.

From start to finish, the atmosphere was electric — full of energy, colour, and collaboration. Each day brought something new, from engaging activities and hands-on learning sessions to laughter-filled games and vibrant costumes that lit up the workplace.

One of the many highlights of the week was seeing everyone get involved with such enthusiasm. Whether it was testing IPC knowledge, joining in the themed challenges, or striking a pose for a playful photo moment, every participant contributed to making the week memorable.

A special thank you goes out to Errol and Preethy, whose creative get-ups and infectious energy added an extra spark to the celebrations. Their involvement truly captured the spirit of IPC Week — learning through fun, teamwork, and connection.

Of course, IPC Week wasn’t just about activities and entertainment. It was also a reminder of why we do what we do — to protect patients, colleagues, and our wider community through best practices in infection prevention and control. Every quiz, update, and team discussion helped reinforce the importance of IPC in our daily work.

This year’s success was made possible thanks to the incredible collaboration between our IPC Leads and the Leisure and Lifestyle Teams, who worked together to plan, organise, and deliver such a vibrant and engaging week of events. Your hard work, creativity, and dedication brought so much joy and meaning to everyone involved — and created memories we’ll cherish long after IPC Week has ended. 🌿💖
