Karingal Gardens provides continual care and accommodation for 100 residents in a bright, airy and welcoming environment.

Opposite the vast expanses of the Recreation Ground, the home has an open plan with many outdoor areas for residents to relax and enjoy the landscaped gardens. All rooms have access to an ensuite bathroom and are individually air conditioned.

A wide range of lifestyle and wellbeing activities are offered to residents including regular concerts, entertainers, barbeques, art therapy, and the Music and Memories program to name just a few.

The home also has a separate and secure memory care unit complete with sensory gardens and walking paths for residents requiring specialised dementia care.

The Dadirri Room is another feature for residents at the home. The Dadirri Room uses fibre optics, a bubble column, and soft music to provide a relaxing and calming environment for residents.

The home was one of the first in Australia to use the services of a Nurse Practitioner to provide rapid access to primary health care, improving the wellbeing of residents and preventing hospitalizations. The Nurse Practitioner compliments the experienced, dedicated, and professional staff that deliver quality care and services to residents at the home.

Single Room with shared ensuite – 18.8 sqm in size

Rooms are bright and airy with large windows and curtains, adjustable electric beds, built in wardrobes and shelving with lockable drawer, lockable bedside table, over bed table, nurse call system, television, telephone and internet connections, individual air conditioning, visitors chair.

Rooms share an ensuite with one other room, enabling access for lifting and other equipment as required. Ensuite can be accessed directly from room.
