Nursing Assistant / Personal Care Worker (Residential Aged Care)

Location: Alkira Lodge and Karingal Gardens, Taree & Banyula Lodge, Old Bar

Employment Status: Full Time, Part Time & Casual

About the Role - What will you do? 

  • Provide appropriate clinical care to residents in accordance with their needs assessment and nursing care plan

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as, showering, dressing or other personally orientated tasks to facilitate a good quality of life for the residents

  • Ensure residents have the opportunity to make informed choices and decisions regarding their care and the services they receive 

  • Accurately document resident's current condition and care needs 

  • Maintain a clean and comfortable environment in the home

 

Registered Nurse

Location: Alkira Lodge and Karingal Gardens, Taree & Banyula Lodge, Old Bar

Employment Status: Full Time, Part Time & Casual

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide clinical leadership at our two homes in Taree. We are looking for motivated and energetic nurses with a commitment to providing quality care to our residents.

Essential Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA registration

  • Availability to work morning, afternoon, and / or night shifts

  • Commitment to contemporary aged care practice with an understanding of the principles of person centred care and dementia practice

  • Experience in a clinical leadership role with the ability to manage day to day clinical issues

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and mentor staff to provide quality care outcomes for residents

  • Sound knowledge of AN-ACC and experience in resident assessment and care planning
