My name is Judy Bennett and 13 years ago my mum made the decision to transition to Karingal Gardens using HomeCare. As Dad and I were feeling overwhelmed, the entire staff at the centre went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, ensuring Mum’s room felt like home. The Nurses took the time to understand Mum’s unique needs, providing her with her favourite pencils, drawing sheets and a warm cup of tea.

When Mum first arrived, she was feeling unsettled, but the nurturing love and care from the staff, including the cleaning staff’s friendly smiles and chats, helped her feel part of the community. Over time, Mum touched the hearts of many, including visitors who would come to see other family members. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Karingal Gardens for their kindness, love and exceptional care. You all exceeded expectations, showing us that true compassion and empathy can make all the difference.
