Free Respite

Free Respite Care Available in Taree Until April 2026

Families and carers in the Taree community can now access free respite care for their loved ones at both Karingal Gardens and Alkira Lodge.

This limited-time initiative is available for aged persons who have been assessed as requiring respite care, with placements offered free of charge until 30 April 2026.

Respite care provides carers with the opportunity to take a well-earned break, rest and recharge, while ensuring their loved one receives high-quality, professional care in a safe and supportive environment.
